Track Worlds: Northwave bronze in the Team Pursuit with Ganna and Consonni

After Kirsten Wild’s triumph in the Scratch race, Extreme RR claimed two medals in UCI Track World Championships’ day 2: Filippo Ganna and Simone Consonni took the bronze medal in the Team Pursuit with the Italian quartet

Northwave claimed two more medals at the UCI Track World Championships, in Apeldoorn (Netherlands). After Kirsten Wild’s triumph in the Scratch race, on Thursday March 1st, Italy’s Filippo Ganna and Simone Consonni conquered the bronze medal in the Team Pursuit with the new National Record.

Equipped with Extreme RR shoes, Ganna and Consonni - together with teammates Liam Bertazzo and Francesco Lamon - clocked in 3’54”.606 crossing the finish line ahead of Germany, whilst Great Britain took the gold medal preceding Denmark.

Today, Friday March 2nd, Filippo Ganna will return on the Apeldoorn velodrome to face his favorite race, the Individual Pursuit, after the silver medal claimed last year in Hong Kong and the World Title conquered in the 2016 edition in London’s Lee Valley VeloPark.
