Spitz, Keller and Extreme XC on the podium in Granichen

The German veteran and the Swiss prospect equipped by Northwave placed second and third in Swiss Bike Cup's stage 4. Vogel finished fourth in the men's race

Northwave’s bikers struggled for win in Swiss Bike Cup’s stage 4, in Granichen (Switzerland), on Sunday June 11th. Sabine Spitz (WIAWIS Bike Pro Team) and Alessandra Keller (Radon XC Team), equipped with Extreme XC shoes, finished second and third behind Rebecca Henderson.

The German veteran and the Swiss prospect crossed the finish line 0:32 and 0:36 behind the winner, whilst two more Northwave’s athletes, Linda Indergand (Focus XC Team) and Helen Grobert (Cannondale Factory Racing), placed sixth and tenth.

Linda Indergand occupies the second overall place with 230 points behind leader Sina Frei (274). Sixth place for Kathrin Stirnemann (Radon XC Team) who totalized 168 points.

In the men’s race won by New Zealander Anton Cooper ahead of his compatriot Samuel Gaze and the Olympic and World Champion Nino Schurter, Florian Vogel (Focus XC Team) achieved an excellent fourth place wearing Northwave Extreme XC shoes and Extreme Tech Plus socks, whilst Mathias Fluckiger (Radon XC Team) finished eighth.
