The French rider, equipped with Northwave Enduro Mid shoes, retained the overall title in the most important Enduro circuit in the World for the third year in a row, completing in Finale Ligure (Italy) her eight-round sweep in the 2018 season
Northwave’s Cécile Ravanel closed the perfect season at Enduro World Series, claiming the eighth win on eight stages and the third overall title in a row, a sweep completed in the final showdown in Finale Ligure, Italy, after dominating the 2018 season.
On Sunday September 30th, the Team Commençal Vallnord Enduro Racing athlete, equipped with Northwave Enduro Mid - the Northwave shoes specifically developed for Enduro, featuring the X-Fire sole co-developed with Michelin Technical Soles - preceded in the stage classification her main rival, Isabeau Courdurier (+6”), whilst Andreane Lanthier Nadeau completed the podium at 32”.
The French rider totalized the full tally of 3200 points as a result of an eight-round sweep, preceding Courdurier (2800) and Brit Katy Winton (2290).
In Finale Ligure, Northwave grazed the success also in the men’s race with Frenchman Damien Oton (Unior Devinci Factory Racing), runner-up in Enduro World Series’ last stage, 22 seconds behind US Richie Rude, with Kevin Miquel third at 26”. Oton claimed the second overall place, totalizing 3100 points, preceded by Aussie Sam Hill (3510).
