Ravanel and Northwave claim seventh in a row at Enduro World Series

The French rider and the Italian brand one win closer to the glory in the 2018 edition of the most important Enduro challenge in the World, after winning the Spanish round

The day of celebration is getting closer for Cécile Ravanel (Commençal Vallnord Enduro Racing Team). On Sunday September 23rd, the French rider equipped with Northwave Enduro Mid shoes conquered another success in Enduro World Series’ round 7, in Ainsa Sobrarbe (Spain).

Ravanel preceded her main rival, Isabeau Courdurier, runner-up at 55”, getting inches close to the arithmetical overall successo, whilst Canadian Andréane Lanthier Nadeau finished third at 1’37”. Thanks to her seventh seasonal success, Ravanel leads the overall standings with 2800 points: behind the leader, Courdurier sits in second place (2450) ahead of Brit Katy Winton (2010).

In the men’s competition, Northwave’s Damien Oton (Unior Devinci Factory Racing) took the third place, 32” behind USA's Richie Rude, winner ahead of Belgian Martin Maes. In the GC, Oton occupies the third position with 2650 points, behind Aussie Sam Hill (3160) and Maes (2720), in view of 2018 Enduro World Series’ final round, to be held in Finale Ligure, in Italy (September 29th-30th).
