Pasqualon sprints to win in Luxembourg

Wanty-Groupe Gobert and Northwave’s athlete took the success in Skoda-Tour de Luxembourg’s stage 2

Wanty-Groupe Gobert’s Andrea Pasqualon prologued his winning streak after last Saturday’s success at Gran Prix Plumelec, in France, by claiming Skoda-Tour of Luxembourg’s stage 2 (Junglinster - Schifflange, 89,2 Km, shortened due to the bad weather), on Friday June 1st.

Equipped with Northwave Extreme RR shoes and Extreme Air socks, the 30-year-old Italian rider outsprinted German Alexander Krieger and the local favourite Alex Kirsch, taking advantage by the XFrame® technology of his Northwave Extreme RR shoes in the final uphill sprint.

Pasqualon, third in the stage 1 on Thursday May 31st, is now third overall 5 seconds behind leader Krieger, with two stages to go.
