The 30-year-old Italian rider showed to be the strongest through the five race days by winning the second and third stage and taking third spot twice (first and fourth stage), after the 22nd place in the opening prologue.
In the fourth and last stage, on Sunday June 3rd (Mersch - Luxembourg 176 Km), Pasqualon controlled his rivals, crossing the finish line behind winner Anthony Perez and Eduardo Prades, keeping the Points Classification leader jersey too. In the GC he preceded Pole Jan Tratnik (+0:15) and the home favourite Pit Leyder (+0:29). Pasqualon achieved the first stage race of his career and the fourth seasonal success.
