Kristoff the fastest in Gippingen with Extreme RR

The European Champion equipped with Northwave claimed the fourth seasonal win at GP du Canton d’Argovie (Switzerland). Canola third, Pasqualon sixth

UAE Team Emirates’ Alexander Kristoff grabbed the fourth seasonal win at GP du Canton d’Argovie, on Thursday June 7th. The 30-year-old European Champion took advantage of the XFrame® patented technology of his Northwave Extreme RR to win the massive sprint on Gippingen’s finish line, in Switzerland.

Behind the Norwegian, Italian Francesco Gavazzi claimed the second place ahead of another athlete supported by the Italian brand, Nippo-Vini Fantini-Europa Ovini’s Marco Canola. Northwave’s Andrea Pasqualon (Wanty-Groupe Gobert) finished sixth.

After taking part in GP du Canton d’Argovie, on Saturday June 9th the rider born in Oslo will face the opening time trial of the Tour de Suisse (June 9th-17th) in Fruenfeld. Then, Kristoff will take part in the 105th Tour de France (July 7th-29th) with the goal of conquering the first yellow jersey in the opening stage suitable for sprinters.
