EKZ CrossTour: Neff runner-up in Eschenbach. Havlikova maintains the lead

The Cross Country World Champion equipped by Northwave shines in the stage 5 of the Swiss cyclocross challenge. Havlikova (fourth today) maintains the overall leadership

Kross Racing Team’s Jolanda Neff and Northwave clinched second place in EKZ CrossTour’s stage 5, in Eschenbach (Switzerland), on Sunday December 10th. In a typical winter day, characterized by a heavy snowfall, the 24-year-old Swiss athlete, Cross Country World Champion, was preceded on the finish line by Italian Eva Lechner, whilst Nicole Koller finished third ahead of another Northwave rider, Czech Pavla Havlikova. The KOOPERATIVA Cyclocross’ athlete maintained the overall leadership.

Havlikova leads the GC with 385 points ahead of Jasmin Egger-Achermann (325) and Rebecca Gariboldi (266), with one stage to go, scheduled on Tuesday January 2nd, 2018 in Meilen.

In addition, Northwave maintained the Giro Italia Ciclocross overall leadership in the Open Men category thanks to Antonio Folcarelli (Race Mountain), fourth in stage 5 in San Michele dei Mucchietti (North-Central Italy) behind winner Cristian Cominelli and the Samparisi brothers, Nicholas and Lorenzo. Northwave is main partner and official jerseys’ supplier of the Giro Italia Ciclocross.
