Centurion Vaude’s Austrian claimed a prestigious win in the home race with Northwave Extreme XC shoes
Daniel Geismayr (Centurion Vaude) grabbed a prestigious win at the 2017 Alpentour Trophy, international Mountain Bike event staged from Thursday June 8th to Sunday 11th in Austria.
The 27-year-old Austrian biker, equipped with Northwave Extreme XC shoes, showed a great consistency, claiming the third place in the opening stage and taking the stage win and the overall leadership in the second day. In the last two stages, Geismayr controlled the main opponents, preceding in the General Classification two more Austrian bikers, Hermann Pernsteiner and Alban Lakata, second and third respectively 2:11 and 5:01 behind the leader. In addition, Northwave’s Moritz Milatz (KREIDLER) and the winner’s teammate Marcus Kaufmann finished fifth and seventh.
