Cécile Ravanel takes fifth win at 2018 Enduro World Series

Northwave and Commençal Vallnord’s rider claimed the success in La Thuile (Aoste, Northern Italy), in the 5th stage of the most important Enduro circuit in the World with her Enduro Mid shoes. Damien Oton, fifth in the round, occupies the second overall place in the men’s category

The queen keeps rolling. Fifth seasonal success on 5 races in the 2018 season and eleventh wins in a row, considering the last 6 rounds of the 2017 edition. Commençal Vallnord’s Cécile Ravanel confirmed her supremacy in the 2018 Enduro World Series, conquering the stage 5 in La Thuile (Aoste, Northern Italy) with her Northwave Enduro Mid shoes, on Saturday July 21st and Sunday 22nd.

In the first Italian stage of the most important Enduro circuit in the World, the French rider preceded her main rival Isabeau Courdurier (+1’39”), second ahead of German Ines Thoma (+3’38”). Ravanel also leads the overall standings with 2000 points, whilst Courdurier sits in second place (1750) ahead of Kate Winton (1490).

In the men’s race, Northwave finished fifth with Frenchman Damien Oton (Unior Devinci Factory Team), as Sam Hill won the stage, preceding Martin Maes and Eddie Masters. In the GC, Oton occupies the second place with 1910 points, behind leader Hill (2380), whilst Maes sits in third place.
