Cécile Ravanel confirmed herself as the undisputed ruler of 2017 Enduro World Series in the round 7 held in Whistler (Canada), on Sunday August 13th. Supplied by Northwave, the French superstar claimed the sixth seasonal win out of seven stages, conquering the overall success with one round remaining.
In the Pro Women category, Ravanel dominated the opponents winning all the stages on the difficult Whistler CrankWorx. Behind the Commençal Vallnord Enduro’s rider, Isabeau Courdurier (SUNN) completed the Northwave one-two, whilst Brit Katy Winton placed third.
“CrankWorx for us it’s like the world championships – for me the best event of the year”, said the winner. “I was focused on the goal and I’m really enjoying the victory today. It’s amazing.”
Ravanel leads the General Classification with 2750 points ahead of Isabeau Courdurier and Katy Winson (2070) in view of the final round scheduled on Saturday September 30th and Sunday October 1st in Finale Ligure (Italy).
