The Hungarian 28-year-old athlete preceded French Riou and Austrian Wasle at Transylvania European Cross Festival
Brigitta Poòr clinched an impressive gold medal at the Cross Triathlon European Championships, staged at the Transylvania European Cross Festival, in Târgu Mureș (Romania), on Sunday July 30th. Third in the swimming time, the Hungarian 28-year-old athlete equipped with Northwave Extreme XC shoes conquered the head of the race thanks to the Mountain Bike fraction, confirming the leadership in the running section.
Poòr crossed the finish line in 1.59.49, preceding French Morgan Riou (2.02.51) and Austrian Carina Wasle (2.05.45), third after an exciting head-to-head in the running time with Italian Eleonora Peroncini.
The Magyar superstar conquered the first European gold medal in her career, two years after the bronze medal grabbed in the 2015 World Championships, in Orosei (Sardinia, Italy).
