Norwegian Alexander Kristoff scored his fourth win in a row in Frankfurt (Germany), by clinching the 56th Eschborn-Frankfurt, on Tuesday May 1st. The European Champion conquered the third seasonal success, taking advantage by the XFrame® technology of his Northwave Extreme RR shoes in the final sprint. Backed by his teammate Alexandr Riabushenko, UAE Team Emirates’ athlete outsprinted Aussie Michael Matthews and Belgian Oliver Naesen.
Kristoff claimed the first success of 2018 season in Europe, as he had previously won Tour of Oman’s stage 6 and Abu Dhabi Tour’s opener.
Another Northwave’s athlete, Andrea Pasqualon (Wanty-Groupe Gobert) equipped with Extreme RR shoes and Extreme Air socks, placed fourth on Frankfurt’s finish line, while Juan José Lobato (Nippo-Vini Fantini-Europa Ovini) was tenth.
