Bertolini secondo in Coppa del Mondo a Fiuggi

Gioele Bertolini’s momentum goes on: after the strong win claimed at CX Italian Championships in Silvelle di Trebaseleghe, the 21-year-old Lombard rider finished second in U23 Cyclocross World Cup’s round 6, in Fiuggi (Frosinone, Italy), bringing up to the podium the new Yellow Fluo Northwave Extreme XC. Bertolini is also equipped with Skeleton gloves and Extreme Tech Plus socks.
In the morning of Sunday January 15th, Selle Italia – Guerciotti’s athlete crossed the finish line behind the World Champion Eli Iserbyt (Belgium), whilst the European Champion Quinten Hermans (Belgium) placed third.
Bertolini occupies the third place in the World Cup overall standings (176 points) now behind the leader, Dutch Joris Nieuwenhuis (230 points), and Quinten Hermans (185 points) with only one round to go.
